Plan in advance and work with a certified travel consultant
and an Honeymoon planning expert.
- Tell your travel agent, any particular requests that you might
have, a surprise for your new spouse, a special activity etc.
- Check your passports that they are current, make a copy of your
passport one to leave with a trusted friend at home and one to
carry alone seperatly from the other passport. ( actual one in
purse, copy in baggage)
- Label luggage with names, address and phone number, both inside
and outside.
- Use traveler’s checks or credit cards instead
of carrying large sums of cash.
- It is a good idea to take a small first aid kit with you to deal
with any minor ailments. ( asprin, band aids, stomach tabs maybe
even allergy meds, eye drops, aloe & sunscreen)
- Check what the weather is like at the destination.
- If traveling abroad, be sure you have your passport or visa
in order.
- Check on insurance – whether it covers your belongings
while on a trip. If not, buy additional insurance.
- You'll be tired after your wedding, don't over schedule yourselves
when planning your itinerary as you will probably want to relax
the
first couple
of days.
